SMC hosts Successful Winter Essentials Drive for STAND! for Families Free of Violence

HomeAid would like to thank BIA’s Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) for supporting STAND! For Families Free of Violence at their Cornhole Tournament last week.  SMC and generous event participants collected 54 blankets, 219 packs of socks and 21 packs of undergarments for all ages and genders.  These items are most welcome to comfort individuals changing their lives by fleeing domestic violence and altering familiar patters for a better future.

Each year STAND! serves thousands of families fleeing domestic violence through a spectrum of intervention services offered at no cost to the survivor as well as robust teen prevention and violence recovery programs because people like you care!

Through presentations and trainings with community groups, corporations, local businesses, government agencies, and individuals, STAND! educates our community about the causes, effects, and signs of domestic violence and child abuse.
