Happy 35th Birthday HomeAid!
In 1989 HomeAid was founded in Orange County as a vehicle through which members of the building industry could give back to the communities in which they build by doing what they do best – housing!
Over the last 35 years we have seen affiliates grow nationwide and HomeAid Northern California is a proud affiliate that facilitates local industry support for these important projects that contribute to the well-being of our neighbors who are in need of assistance.
HomeAid’s primary focus is on the women, children, veterans and families who experience a life-altering event and are rendered temporarily homeless due to circumstances beyond their control. This work would not be possible without the generosity of homebuilders, project designers, trade partners, financial institutions, and you! HomeAid’s first pilot project was built in Irvine, for the Irvine Farmhouses for Families Forward (formerly Irvine Temporary Housing):
