Homelessness is more than just statistics—it’s real people, real lives, and real struggles. On any given night, more than 28,000 people in the Bay Area are experiencing homelessness.  By virtually every measure, the Bay Area's homeless crisis ranks among the worst in the United States.

Homelessness doesn’t happen in isolation. It's often the result of multiple factors: economic hardship, mental health challenges, domestic violence, natural disasters, and systemic issues like the lack of affordable housing. HomeAid Northern California builds and renovates housing on behalf of other community-based non-profit service providers by leveraging the resources of the home building community and its corporate partners. We are honored to work with so many wonderful organizations that do the hard work of helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness on their path to independence.

Throughout Homelessness Awareness Month 2024, we’ll dive deep into these issues, share impactful stories, and reveal how YOU can make a difference. Whether it's through volunteering, donating, or spreading awareness—every action counts.
