HomeAid Construction Begins on Hope Village in Walnut Creek

HomeAid Northern California Begins Construction Begins on Hope Village in Walnut Creek

HomeAid is excited to partner with our Builder Captain the Pulte Group on the construction on our newest micro-home village in partnership with Firm Foundation Community Housing  for the care provider Hope Solutions

We have started construction at the micro-home factory site in Dublin and site improvements at the Grace Presbyterian Church of Walnut Creek.  We hope to have the project completed by October 11th.  The Hope Village project will be located in an underutilized parking area of the church, and will include six 225 sq ft homes with an office and laundry unit to provide support for the residents.

Contra Costa County, like most of California, is facing a significant homelessness and affordable housing crisis. Thousands more face housing instability, and today’s rising housing costs and inflation are only exacerbating the situation.

Founded in 1997, Hope Solutions was created to provide emergency support to homeless individuals.  Hope Solutions has grown to provide permanent supportive housing and vital social services to over 2,200 of the most vulnerable members of the community.
